Isn’t this looking like a typical romantic scenery: sailboats at sunset? But Paul Signac’s pointillistic masterpiece isn’t melancholic at all. The colors are radiant and the sky is yellow and golden like a warm day in the south.
We asked the Dutch company IXXI to print Signac’s “Opus 236” on their smart photo tiles. The tiles are made of SYNAPS, which is a kind of synthetic, high quality paper made by Agfa. The material is tearproof, water and UV-resistant. IXXi is free of toxic elements and 100% recyclable.
