It is well known that Monet admired Japanese art and in particular Japanese woodcuts a lot.
The love is on both sides. Until today. Many Japanese art lovers visit Monet’s Garden in Giverny and his famous Japanese Bridge all year. Our Kimono is an homage to this unique cultural bond between Europe and Asia.
