The unicorn is a mythical creature between reality and fantasy. For centuries, people believed that unicorns really existed. There were even serious expeditions to prove their existence.??

This special existence of the unicorn can also be discovered in artistic depictions of the unicorn. In a colorful 15th-century depiction of wild people and wild animals, the griffin has imaginary fur, but the unicorn's spots are derived from the fur of the fallow deer.??

Together with designer Hellen van Berkel, we have dedicated an entire series of beautiful products to this special image from the collection of the MAK in Vienna. Respectful of the original, yet completely timeless.
